That Moment
That moment when it was you and I laughing in silence, only with eyes, a moment you were close but far away That moment when the sun was rising…
To You
Young and vulnerable Kate wants to confess! And she did justice, didn’t she. Not afraid of letting her words go, she reveals her true feelings and emotions… to him. Or the image of perfection, or true love or pasts, presents, futures. It doesn’t matter, just listen to her voice.
The Blue Makes Me Feel Love
This is a poem I wrote when I was sitting on the beach and looking at the sea and its dark blue waters because of the falling darkness. It made me feel so cozy there, caressed by the breeze. I felt the way I used to feel when playing hide-and-seek at night – protected and safe. It made me feel loved and wanted.
Give Me a Beer
Sober or drunk, does it matter when the world is gray and no love is free; it has to be earned. Can we escape dreaming of paradise and fearing hell? Or just order one more beer which can lead our minds to somewhere safe, somewhere green and sunny. A place where love is the air we breathe.
The Air I Breathe
Despite the clear, fresh, mountainous air, we sometimes have difficulty breathing; we are poisoned and nothing can save us but a drop of antidote – a face. A face in the mirror of pasts, presents and futures. The face of our savior.
I Hate When I Am Loving You
We are oftentimes torn apart by one of the greatest paradoxes of Life: we hate and we love something at the same time. And when something turns into someone, we tend to lose all direction in life and succumb to chaos.
I Know You Will
Relationships are often too complicated to be described with a word or two; that’s why the author didn’t have much of a choice but to let the stream of words and emotions flow until it finally took a form. A sentence, a short and powerful message: I know you will!
Love Makes Us What We Are
This poem explores the dual nature of Love; it kills us and at the same time it makes us who we are – brave, childish, innocent, happy and waiting… waiting for a kiss under the summer shades or a game of hide-and-seek during the long and merry nights of our childhood.
Summer Kiss
We tend to express our feelings about summer once we’ve lost its burning presence. In autumn we mourn for its light and floridness because we see everything die. In winter, when death takes over, we have almost no summer memory left but that of a long and burning kiss.
Love Potion
This short poem reflects the capture of a single moment when the sun is shining and caressing both body and soul. It makes us feel loved, blessed, kissed, immortal… are we not? And the only thing we can do is to drink this potion every day.
