Freedom – my shelter, my home

I forgot your kissing winds,

I forgot your caressing hands

The way you make my heart

pulse and throb, this way

I am reaching out the stars

Place so known yet so far

like a childish dream – here

and there, courage – fear

The sky is grey and it is blue,

it is snowing but the sun is true

It is night but the day is coming through

Opened windows, fields of butterflies

beyond horizons I see your silhouette

welcome to my house and my tears wet

Drink tonight with me from glass

full of wine and dreams and tears

your presence lingers all these years.
