Night translucent and vibrating

descends upon the city bustling.

The sky is lapis- lazuli, transcending

the sunset pink and orange.

Summer lingers yet, pretending

that it will play tomorrow, forever

like children who are in love,

last kisses on our cheeks and lips.

Before winds grey and vile fogs

wrap the world in cold embrace.

Before white covers the yellow fields

which proudly withstand the Sun.

Before the day grows tired, bored

And night – heartless, cruel

Will descend upon the world.
