On August summer day

when the Sun is playing hide

and seek with playful clouds.

And the wind whispers gently,

calm as never before, friendly.

Here comes the Rain to join

this multitude of laughter

and unleash its power strong.

And purify the things

which cannot be purified.

To brighten the horizon

shrouded in golden darkness.

The Rain has come and gone

You decide – a friend or foe!

To me He showed the way

pointed with its finger South

where all paths lead and go;

where birds and summers flee!

Oh, set me free, set me free!
